How to buy a new computer for under $200
Hacker News user fyro writes: I just bought a new laptop from a friend, a Lenovo ThinkPad 13 7000 with 8 GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 and Intel Core i7 processor.
Ive been using it for about a month, and Ive just bought the latest model for under 200.
It has a 3.6 GHz Intel Core m5 processor, 16 GB RAM and an 8 GB HDD, and the battery is 3200 mAh.
The laptop comes with a 16 GB SSD and a 1TB HDD.
I have no clue what they have inside.
Is it possible to buy an older model?
Is there any chance to buy something that’s better?
What would you consider an average price? Thanks!
